Do you have a friend who shares your
taste in music? Or are you "that friend"—the
one everyone goes to looking for great songs? With iTunes
and the iTunes Music Store, you can publish your music
recommendations for friends and family anytime.
When you publish a playlist at the iTunes Music Store,
it’s called an "iMix." iMixes allow others
to preview your favorite songs and purchase the ones
they want. Creating your own iMix on the iTunes Music
Store is as easy as clicking a button.
Steps
- Create an iMix at the iTunes Music Store
1-Select a playlist in the Source list.
2-Click the arrow icon that appears to the right of
the playlist name.
3-Click the Create iMix button from the dialog box
that appears.
4-Click the Create button from the next dialog box
that appears.
5-If prompted, log in to your iTunes Music Store account,
and then click the Publish button.
6-Add a title and description for the iMix in the
fields provided, and then click the Publish button.
7-Send your iMix to your friends by clicking the Tell
a Friend link. Also you can send a link to us and
we will pass it to our members who love iranian music.
Tips
Send a song’s web address to a friend
To include the web address of an iTunes Music Store page
in an email, drag a link, song, or graphic from a page
in the iTunes Music Store to your email message. You can
also right-click the item (Control-click on a Mac) and
then choose Copy iTunes Music Store URL from the menu
that appears. Or you can use the Tell a Friend feature
on any album or artist page in the iTunes Music Store
to introduce friends to the great music you’ve discovered.
Delete an iMix
If you ever want to delete an iMix you’ve published,
simply click your account name in the upper-right corner
of the iTunes window. After you log in to your account,
click the Manage iMixes button and then click the Remove
button to the right of the iMix you want to delete.
Tell friends and family about your iMix
When you create an iMix, it’s easy to share it with
friends and family. Simply click the Announce button,
type an email address and a short message in the space
provided, and then click the Send button. An email message
will be sent with a link to your playlist at the iTunes
Music Store where your friends and family can preview
your favorite songs and purchase the ones they want.
Find an iMix at the iTunes Music Store
When you view an artist page or an album page at the
iTunes Music Store, you can view every iMix that contains
music from that artist or that album. These iMixes were
created by others who shop at the iTunes Music Store.
This is a great way to discover new music that suits
your taste.
If a song isn’t available at the iTunes Music
Store
If you publish an iMix that contains music not available
at the iTunes Music Store, those songs will not be listed
in your iMix.
Automatically create a playlist when purchasing
an iMix
In the Store tab of iTunes preferences, select "Automatically
create playlists when buying song collections,"
and a playlist will automatically be created and filled
with your songs when you buy an iMix collection.
